ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Food and Beverage Processing industry is an ever-growing industry. South India serves as a hub for Food and Beverage Processing Industries. More than 70% of the industries are located in south India and in that about 30% is located in Tamil Nadu. As there is a growing demand for convenient, ready to eat, healthier and immunity boosting foods after Covid Pandemic, the food sectors are blooming tremendously. India with the second largest population not only requires improvement in food production but also in food processing, preservation and packaging sectors. A collaborative effort between Centre, States and the Institutions specialized in this sector is the need of the hour to address the challenge of food safety and security in our Country. In the present era of growing awareness, demands and challenges in food and beverage sectors, organizing this conference will provide the right platform for the food technology professionals from various sectors such as industry, research institutes, colleges, public and government units to meet and share their knowledge and information which could ultimately pave the way for the further growth and development of Food and Beverage industry in India. In addition to this conference, an Expo will also be conducted where the firms and officials related to Food and Beverage production, processing and equipment suppliers which will provide the right space to showcase their products and thereby helps to bridge the needs of the professionals from various sectors in Food and Beverage.
